Arkansas River Trail Ride:

This ride starts at 9:30am from the Clinton Library parking lot in Little Rock. We will cross over the river on the Big Dam Bridge as we head to Maumelle State Park--regrouping stops along the way. This is an out and back route with plenty of scenic views along the way. Refuel/regroup at Maumelle State Park before heading back to start. Beginners can turn back anytime for a shorter ride.
Difficulty level: Easy to Moderate

Meet at the lower level of the Cortez Golf Course. We'll ride out of the Cortez card gate and straight ahead on Beaudry Circle Rd. Follow the road to it ends at Hwy 7 and turn around for a 15 mile ride on all paved roads. Beginners can turnaround at any time. There is an extra loop option past the church continuing to the right on Beaudry Circle and left on Newkirk Circle back to Beaudry and return adding 5 miles if you're yearning for more distance.

Meet at the Balboa Baptist Church on Ponce De Leon Dr. in HSV. This is a garden variety ride offering 2 miles of packed gravel, some climbing, pleasant country roads with occasional donkeys sightings and a little 'House and Garden' touring in a loop that brings us back to the start. This ride is a loop and not recommended for your first time out.

Meet at Mill Creek Baptist Church on the corner of Mill Creek Rd. and AR 128 (Lonsdale Cutoff). This is a pleasant back country road with little traffic for the 21 mile ride on all paved roads out and back. Rolling hills with one moderately long but not too steep climb. This is an out and back ride so beginners can turnaround anytime.

Mill Creek Road + Hot Springs

Meet at Mill Creek Baptist Church on the corner of Mill Creek Rd. and AR 128 (Lonsdale Cutoff). This is a pleasant back country road with little traffic. At the Highway 70 frontage road we make a right then a left turn onto the overpass at Mill Creek Road. We continue onto Spring St. and into Hot Springs' at Central Avenue. Have some coffee or refreshments and return to Mill Creek Baptist the way we came.

Meet at the Park Pavilion (just past the High School) below Blakely Dam. We'll ride out to Tahoe Estates along the Ouachita River and back. A short moderate hill in the beginning turns into a more gradual uphill ride going out all on paved roads. Beginners can turn back anytime for a shorter ride.

Meet at the old Crows fire station on Hwy 5. NOTE: Park on the grass around the mail boxes, but not on the gravel section. We'll ride down Narrows road and back with a short loop at the end to make a ride on all paved and quiet back roads. This ride offers some long and short hills that will tax you and your bike but don't let that scare you away! Beginners can turnaround any time for a shorter ride.

Ride starts at the Baptist Church in Paron. From HSV East Gate turn left. In Crows at the junction of Hwy 5 and Hwy 9 turn left toward Paron. Drive approx. 14 miles. Just prior to reaching the church you will cross over a small bridge and the Baptist Church will be immediately on the right. This is an out and back ride to Ferndale along the picturesque Kanis Road. We'll stop at the Conoco gas station just beyond the stop sign in Ferndale to refuel/regroup before heading back to the start.
Two extension are optional (riders choice) off the Ferndale Cutoff to the north. Garrison Road off the left continues thru beautiful country roads to Rte 10 to Ferndale Cutoff and return and Denny Road a little further up and to the right to Kanis Road and return.
Difficulty level: Easy (turnaround option) to Intermediate to Advanced (extension)

Meet at the Balboa Baptist Church on Ponce De Leon Dr. in HSV. We head to DeSoto Blvd and head east. We'll meander through the quiet neighborhoods with lakes, golf courses, and newer homes on Pizzaro, Maderas (be considerate and cautious and ride single file), Panorama, and Elcano. There are a few challenging hills but worth the effort!
For those wanting a longer ride, continue on Ponce, to right on Balearic, left around Balboa Golf Course on Balboa and return to the Balboa Baptist Church. This adds 10 miles to the ride.
